I've Won and I've Lost...Losing Sucks

I think the song drops an "F Bomb" so...be aware. Just wait out the guy with the afro.

Replaced Embedded Video with Link. So he doesn't scare you when he starts talking.

I can hardly wait for the summer so I can get back out to the field! I hope some of you watched the Smart Parts World Championship on TSN last month. It is a good demonstration of the new X-ball paintball format.

Since most people probably wouldn't know, x-ball is a paintball format that is made to appeal to tv audiences who are used to hockey, football, etc. The game is split into two 25 minute halves. Teams attempt to score points by carrying the flag to the opposing team's side.

And think, some people actually make posts about sports like football...who watches that?

Doomsday Clock Marches On...I Warned You!

The doomsday clock was first started in 1947. It was set at 7 minutes to midnight, which represents the end of the world (through nuclear war). Over the years, the clock has moved closer too and further from midnight. As close as 11:58 in 1953, and as far as 11:43 in 1991. On January 17th, 2007, the clock moved from 11:53 to 11:55. However this new change is NOT due to nuclear war, it is due to the coming fashion apocalypse. Scroll...if you dare.

Those are "shoes" and those four available colors are no doubt representative of the four horsemen. Much like Noah, warning humanity of the coming flood, I warned you that the sins of croc wearing would not go unpunished. The signs were all there! Look at the movement of the doomsday clock. (Graph From Wikipedia Commons).

Look at what happened in 2002! The SAME year that Crocs were invented (maybe)! And now, with the coming of these toe gloves of doom, we again move closer to midnight.

There is still hope! We have been closer to destruction in the past. Then, international cooperation between world powers was able to pull us back from the brink of disaster. This time, it is up to ALL of us. Kill a Northern spotted owl and make a shoe out of it instead, it is better for the world as a whole...

Don't Speed in Italy!

I have to admit, I have driven over the speed limit once or twice. I have also gotten at least one speeding ticket (on the Gorge Road, going to class...be careful!). Personally, I would not ever try to run from the police. This is not only because I drive a Toyota Corolla, but also because I have watched enough Real TV and World's Wildest Police Chases to know how that sort of thing usually ends (Also, I don't think Jesus would approve). I could see, however, how it might be more tempting to run from the police if you were driving something that they couldn't catch.

If you are that type of person who would try to get away, Italian police have a squad car that would most likely make you reconsider.

I guess if you have roads with no speed limit, you need a Lamborghini to catch people.

I think that is pretty awesome. Apparently is is old news, but I don't care.

And even though this isn't a Lamborghini, I am more likely to see one. The police in Ottawa have some of these driving around now, apparently.

I wouldn't run from those Chargers either...

World's Lamest Resolution

Every January, millions of people make New Year's resolutions that they do not keep. Normally, I would avoid this type of thing for a very simple reason...there isn't really anything about me that needs improving.

After thinking about resolutions earlier today, I began to think of making some sort of clever post about them. Instead, something very serious happened. I thought of a real resolution to make! I resolve to update this blog at least every other day.

Huge, I know. But the only thing I hate more than people with "blogs" are people with "blogs" who do not "update them" or who use to many "quotation marks."
